Position Description: UCLA Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Professor Alex Hall seeks a capable and creative research administrator to support the functioning of his Center for Climate Science.
Specific responsibilities are outlined below. Qualified candidates will demonstrate skill with numbers and budgets, will be able to communicate effectively and professionally, and will have strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will take an interest in the Center's mission, will seek to become knowledgeable about our research, and will show creativity, flexibility, and independence in problem-solving.
This position is budgeted at a 50% effort level. For the right candidate, we would consider a lower time commitment if desired.
