Upper School Science (Emphasis on Biology, Human Physiology, and Anatomy)
Randolph School is seeking an enthusiastic full-time science teacher for an Upper School (9-12) position to begin January 2021.
This teacher will participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff to promote the general well-being of the school community in a manner that supports and promotes the Randolph School Mission.
Candidates should bring experience teaching science including hands-on laboratory work. In addition to teaching, the position includes advising individual students and assisting with science competitions, such as Science Bowl and Science Olympiad. This teacher should have an interest in working with young people, the willingness to work in a collegial departmental setting, and a desire to use technology as a teaching and/or learning tool. The department expects a creative and self-motivated colleague with effective oral and written communication skills who has a commitment to lifelong learning.
Education qualifications: Preferred M.A. (science) or experience in teaching high school science-especially Biology, Human Physiology, and Anatomy.
Minimum requirement: B.A. in science Additional Considerations: Interest and ability to contribute to our athletics and extracurricular programs; teaching experience at an independent college preparatory school is preferred.
