The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for several non-tenure earning part-time adjunct faculty positions. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and are reviewed by the department chair as openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a per semester basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer.
Essential duties and responsibility include teaching one to two courses per semester either online, face to face, or hybrid.
Required qualifications for appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor include an earned doctorate or master's degree in Education and a minimum of three years teaching experience in English, social studies, special education, ESL, bilingual education, math, or science education; and strong oral and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in university teaching in traditional and online environments, an understanding of the structures of schools and systems, T-TESS training, and a commitment to developing collaborative relationships.
