![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF06034 The Department of Radiation Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently seeks applicants at the Assistant rank for an academic physician with informatics training and experience. The individual should have a distinguished record of leadership, clinical excellence, and clinical research. The Department of Radiation Oncology offers innovative radiation treatment options across all service lines. Our clinical department is recognized nationally for cutting-edge research and technology in the treatment of all types of malignancies. Our innovative approach in the treatment of various malignancies is enriched by our excellent medical physics and radiation/cancer biology divisions. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader interested in promoting a culture of collaboration and clinical inquiry across disciplines both within the department as well as interdepartmentally. As the Clinical Informaticist for the Department. The candidate will be responsible for engaging in and leading our Department's efforts in clinical informatics as well as training residents and fellows in this important area. This position is open in the Health Sciences series commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an MD, be eligible for California medical licensure, and be board-eligible or board certified in radiation oncology.
