Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: 

Desired 

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher  
• Experience teaching technology principles to middle grades  
• Experience studying computer science and/or programming languages a plus 
• Experience teaching problem-solving and/or math skills 

• Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills 
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week, and during the evenings and weekends, as needed

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Actively teach and create lessons for technology classes in the Middle School 
• Develop lessons that are engaging and grade level appropriate 
• Collaborate with other technology teachers on curriculum and program development 

• Communicate with parents and students regularly 
• Assist with coaching Middle School robotics teams (FIRST Lego League) 
• Travel and supervise transportation of students as needed 
• Duties begin August 2021 
• Position is based on ten-month contract
