Washington Episcopal School is an independent school serving nursery through eighth grade, located in Bethesda, Maryland. WES is looking for a dynamic teacher of middle school level math and science (Math 6, Pre-Algebra, Earth Science, Life Science) to join our faculty. The ideal candidate is an experienced classroom teacher at the middle school level who is excited to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences in both subject areas. In Science, lab work and field study are integral elements of daily teaching and learning. In Math, a passion for numbers and solid pedagogical practice drives a joyful and active learning experience. As a member of a dedicated Middle School team, this full-time position includes Homeroom and/or Advisory responsibilities.
