Position Description: 

Friends Academy seeks an experienced Science/Chemistry teacher who is excited about teaching high school students to engage in our core educational practices. We are searching for someone with excellent communication skills who thrives in a vibrant educational environment, embraces change, and has deep interest in our Quaker mission and educational philosophy. As a full-time faculty member, the person will serve as an advisor for 8-10 students and support a co-curricular activity such as coaching a sport or advising a major school activity.  Other support of activities that contribute to the life of the school and attendance at all-school and other meetings, back-to-school nights, and other events is expected of all faculty members.
