The Position:
The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) assists with the management of Redeemer’s new learning and living facility. The RLC builds relationships with students, provides supervision for the residence life program, attends to critical situations, and promotes adherence to community expectations. The RLC seeks to encourage student’s academic, personal, and spiritual growth by facilitating co-curricular activities and assisting in the development of a safe, nurturing campus environment. On campus residency is required for this position. This role also includes overnight and weekend on call responsibilities.
This position is 100% FTE. This position requires on-campus living.
Anticipated start date: July 1, 2021
In order to discharge these responsibilities in accordance with the objects and purposes of Redeemer University, the RLC must have a deep-seated personal faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, be thoroughly and thoughtfully committed to the Vision and Mission of Redeemer University.
Responsibilities:
2. Provide oversight and supervision to the residence life program in the living learning centre (currently being constructed)
3. Manage conflict and provide leadership during crisis situations
4. Assist with the housing placement process
