Des Moines University seeks an Assistant Controller responsible for supervising payroll, accounts payable, purchasing activities, internal audit functions, analysis of clinical operations, administration of external patient billing, audit workpapers, and various special projects as assigned. The position assists the Controller with operations including developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure proper accounting and administrative controls are in effect, including system upgrades and staff training.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of auditing/accounting experience.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
