Glenelg Country School is seeking a Science Educator with interest and experience in teaching multiple levels of Physics for the 2021-2022 school year. The successful candidate will bring to GCS a love of working with adolescents in and out of the classroom, a sense of wonder for the natural world, and a desire to play a significant role in the life of a school. The ability to supervise curricular integration of campus observatory and surface weather stations or teach math or STEMS classes would be a significant advantage. Our Science Department is noted for its vigorous instruction, strong collaboration, and extensive elective offerings. Our chosen candidate has a passion working with students and will look forward to being a part of an  outstanding school.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach a mix of Conceptual Physics, Physics, Honors Physics, and/or A.P. Physics.
• Advise a group of 8-10 students.
• Lead or assist a student group or club.
