Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Uses school's guiding statements to determine appropriate learning objectives for the class
• Creates a positive, safe, inclusive learning environment 
• Monitors and evaluates student progress and achievement in relation to learning objectives 
• Collaborates effectively with colleagues in creating authentic learning experiences for students 
• Collaborates effectively with teaching team and with teaching partner 
• Contributes to the school community outside of the classroom (e.g., after-school activities, coaching, etc.) 
• Serves as a middle school advisor 
• Actively seeks professional growth opportunities through Nido’s PD Academy 
• Maintains an orderly and safe classroom environment
