Responsibilities: Moses Brown seeks a long-term substitute Chemistry teacher for the fall semester (September 2021- January 2022), with a possibility of some teaching in the spring semester. The successful applicant will teach three sections of chemistry and one section of Honors Chemistry.
The hired teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science Department, which includes Chemistry, Biology and Physics teachers. In addition, teachers work closely with students outside of the classroom during office hours and for occasional extra help outside of these times.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution. Two to five years of teaching experience is preferred, although not a requirement for application. Master’s degree or beyond is desirable.
