Saddle River Day School is looking for a full-time upper school Computer Science teacher to join our community and help us to grow our Computer Science program. The opening is for Comp Sci I, Computer Science Principles, AP CSA, and AP CSP classes. US classes meet for 80 minutes twice a week and 40 minutes once a week, and full time teachers teach five classes. SRDS is an exciting place to be a teacher. Our mission includes developing ‘caring ethical contributors to society' and this provides many opportunities for teachers to explore materials, learn content, and develop skills that help our students to grow. SRDS teachers have an important voice, which provides valuable input for curriculum design as well as collaboration with their colleagues in grade level and department meetings. Successful teachers will be able to incorporate instructional technology fluidly into their teaching. In addition, all teachers advise a group of 8-12 students throughout the school year.
